VIN 1B7GG22X8YS584549 — 2000 DODGE DAKOTA Auction History

This 2000 DODGE DAKOTA, finished in Black, sold on September 24, 2026 at ID - Boise, USA, ID for $90. HEMI-Era pedigree shows in the 3.9L 6 paired with the Automatic — a familiar DODGE combination, with Gas fuel keeping the running costs in a known bracket.

At 187,986 mi the lot sits in a serviceable range; front end damage is typically repairable on the DAKOTA body and HEMI-Era aftermarket parts are widely available. The Copart listing closed without title surprises that would push it into parts-only territory.

This was not the first time the VIN appeared at auction — see the timeline below for the prior sale. HEMI-Era DAKOTAs frequently cycle through Copart/IAAI as rebuilders flip them post-repair.

A Front End-coded 2000 DODGE DAKOTA lot shows grille, hood, headlights, bumper cover and crash bars. airbag deployment and radiator-support distortion is the costly diagnosis to confirm; panel replacement and headlight assembly swap is the standard repair scope.

Bidding above the parts-only threshold requires confirming airbag deployment is absent. Consult an estimator on the 3.9L 6 drivetrain and structural rails before committing.
